Here's the simple, 10-step roadmap for our work together:

  • SESSION 1: Personal Leadership Values & Goals

    In this welcome session, you’ll (1) clarify & define your personal values and (2) set your leadership goals for our work together.

  • SESSION 2: Top 5 Effective Leadership Skills

    You’ll learn research-backed findings about what makes an effective leader (regardless of industry, culture, location, etc.) and apply them to a current work situation. 

  • SESSION 3: Psychological Safety & Communication

    You’ll practice specific tools to improve your ability to effectively foster trust and remove barriers to robust collaboration. 

  • SESSION 4: Meeting Facilitation Skills

    Let’s be honest - meetings can suck. You’ll learn specific strategies to make meetings suck less and actually be helpful to a group, whether you’re facilitating or attending. 

  • SESSION 5: The Performance Cycle

    You’ll workshop specific tactics to improve your team’s hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes.

  • SESSION 6: Building a Kickass Team Culture

    This session covers all things Team Culture 101. You will complete an exercise to map out your own team culture & identify areas of alignment vs. improvement.

  • SESSION 7: Feedback

    You’ll learn about the three types of feedback, identify your unique reactions to receiving feedback, and practice a simple framework for giving effective feedback.

  • SESSION 8: Working Across Styles

    We all have different perspectives, needs, communication styles, and priorities at work. So how can you collaborate effectively across differences in work style?

  • SESSION 9: Participatory Practices

    Leadership is about empowering others to be the best they can be. So you’ll dive into practices & tools you can use at work to break down silos, distribute power & increase inclusivity.

  • SESSION 10: Personal Leadership Philosophy & Development Plan

    This final session brings all of your work together through reflection. You’ll synthesize your unique leadership philosophy and create an action plan for your continued leadership growth.

  • How long is the program?

    The Group Leadership Coaching program is 10-weeks long. We meet for 1 hour weekly. 


    The Winter 2023 Cohort meets virtually on Tuesdays at 11am PST-12pm PST, beginning on Tuesday 1/24/23. 

  • What results will I get from this program?

    This program is designed so that you will see results in your leadership ability within the 10 weeks of coaching. Your results also depend on your level of engagement, so the more present you are during live sessions, the more questions you ask, & the more directly you apply content to your current work - the more results you'll see more quickly!


    In general, research has shown that leadership development coaching has a significant impact on working relationships, teamwork, job satisfaction, profitability, and more. 1:1 leadership coaching has a 4x impact on productivity than management training alone. [Source: Forbes]

  • What's unique about this program?

    We don't just cover the process of how to be a good leader, we dive into the values & culture of being a great leader. 


    Traditional leadership development programs teach you about the "process" of leadership - how to structure effective 1:1s, how to delegate, how to give feedback, etc. 


    While the process of leadership is important, the values behind your leadership are even more fundamental and less discussed. The culture you inspire & build as a leader impacts your effectiveness more than how well you write "leadership voice emails". 


    As a leader - why are you here & why do you care? Those are the questions at the root of authentic leadership that everything else - all those leadership processes - is based upon. So all of our content is uniquely grounded in values & culture before we cover tactics. 

  • What happens if I can't attend a session?

    All good! You will receive a recording of each session within 24 hours. You will be able to access recordings on demand whenever you'd like. 


    Additionally, you can engage with your cohort via our community Slack channel at any time outside of live sessions to stay connected, inspired, and supported. 

  • How much does the program cost?

    When you join the Group Leadership Coaching program, your financial investment is $950. 


    This includes 10 1-hour sessions, recordings of each session, two 30-minute 1:1 coaching sessions with Brenda, access to a community Slack group to exchange resources and ideas in between sessions, and a curated library of leadership resources.

  • Can I set up a payment plan?

    Yes! We want this program to be accessible to all and so we do offer payment plans. If you're interested in setting up a payment plan, please indicate that in the short questionnaire you complete when scheduling a call (click any button on this page to do so). Then we will include a payment plan discussion in our conversation agenda. 

  • Are refunds offered?

    We do not offer refunds. When you commit to joining this program, you are commiting to an investment of your time, resources, and energy. 


    Once you join the program, you will have access to recordings of each session and our community Slack channel.
